The following email is sent when an Department Chair is assigned to an application.

Subject: CME Faculty Department Chair Instructions

Dear DEPARTMENT CHAIR NAME,

APPLICATION SUBMITTER has recently submitted an application for CME credit designation for ACTIVITY TITLE.

Before the application can be considered for credit, the Office of CME and Lifelong Learning requires a decision from leadership that this activity aligns with the educational, strategic and financial priorities of your department.

Please follow the steps below to provide your decision on this matter:

• Login to your MiCME account using the UM Level-1 Sign In
• Select Dashboard --> Important Actions --> Complete Application Reviews
• In the Reviews to Complete section, locate the activity named above and then click on Department Chair Approval
• Review the application and supporting documents and then provide your decision
