1. Describe the incidence and risk factors for head and neck cancers
2. Identify “warning symptoms” of laryngeal cancers
3. Perform a basic workup for a suspected laryngeal or head and neck cancer
4. Identify when it is appropriate to refer a patient to ENT for symptoms concerning a laryngeal cancer
5. Describe normal airway anatomy and identify anatomic differences between tracheostomy and laryngectomy
