To request accommodation: please contact the activity coordinator listed for the specific educational offering in question, or the senior director of continuing health professional education at [email protected] or (601) 815-5141.
The CHPE senior director is responsible for reviewing and approving all accommodations requested. If CHPE is unable to provide a reasonable accommodation without additional institutional support, the senior director works collaboratively with the UMMC Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and, if appropriate, the UMMC Human Resources Employee Relations to receive necessary assistance in meeting the accommodation request.
Additionally, CHPE is diligently working to transition all publicly facing digital materials to ensure full accessibility. We want everyone who visits our websites to have access to all the information we provide. Sections 504 and 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, along with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, establish minimum compliance standards for institutions of higher education.
